I have a full tutorial on my Youtube Channel. You can see the video, and/or continue reading for my steps in creating the Carrot Boxes below.
Here is a snapshot of all the supplies I used to create these Carrot Easter Favor Boxes:
First, you are going to use the large Tree Light Die for the base of your Carrot Favor Box. The orange cardstock measures 6 x 6.
Next, adhere your double sided adhesive to the areas shown above. This is my favorite hands down: Double-Sided Tape
Tuck in your Candy, or small favor inside before adhering the top of the box.
New, die-cut the Tassel die from Sizzix from green cardstock. The cardstock above measures 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. This will create the top of the carrot.
With the crease, and curl tool, curl the top of the tassel towards to you. This will give the carrot top dimensions, and lots of character to your Easter Favor Boxes.
Adhere the carrot top inside the opening of the favor box with hot glue. Finish the favor boxes with twine that measures 10″ long, and raffia that measures 16″. You will fold the raffia in half, and tie around the twine to add another special detail. Finally, add a tag with a spring sentiment. I chose to stamp a 10 cent image below onto my tag.
I hope you enjoyed this simple DIY, just in time for Spring! These Carrot Favor Boxes are adorable cut from pattern paper, too!
